One year on Halloween we set out to take my daughter and Paul Step children out for some trick or treating. It was cold and wet outside. It was a very wet snow in Buffalo. Paul, his wife (at the time) and his friend were walking with a couple cans of beer in a bag, being all goofy. I started to get cold Paul gave me his jacket. The kids were out having fun so was he of course he wasn’t cold well, that’s what he said. I laughed so hard at him because we were in our neighborhood we knew everyone he would run up to a house and say trick or treat and show them he only takes beer. He was so much fun he loved children…. at least I have all the memories of you Paul. You will always be in my heart… I miss you Paul.
Miss you paul so so much i cry
Dear Paul
Goodbye Paul I had to say
on october 4th on a cold autumn day
I’ll remember the good times and try not to be sad
But saying goodbye still hurts so bad
We miss you more then We can express
Our love for you will never grow less
We keep trying to imagine how We will go on
We realize tomorrow is another dawn
I know you’re in heaven above
Looking down on us with all your love
Only to whisper in our ear
Remember that I’ll never stop loving you all
I’ll always remember the good times we had
Remember the man, our wonderful tall paul
I’ll remember you each and every day
And if I need to talk to you, I’ll just sit down and pray
One day we’ll be together again
To talk about FFRC
Until the time I’ll always treasure
Having you on cam was such a great pleasure
I miss you so much paul you gave me courage to go on
until we meet again
be blessed and god bless you

Paul gets the last word
Pauls Final Farewell (By FaithyMD 10/12/2013)
Tyna noticed Paul was lingering
And so she waited too
She seemed to understand
That he had something to do
They sat together side by side
As others passed them by
Some few they met remembered them
And stopped to say hello
But Paul still lingered
And Tyna still waited
She had waited this long
So a few more days were fated
Then Paul said “Tyna Please
Can we go back for a sec
I think there is a reason”
She said, “What the heck”
She knew he always broke the rules
But she knew that he was wise
Still as they passed back over
Others were surprised
Bondi saw them coming
“Paul? What are you doing here”
Then she saw one passing
And the reason became clear
Minto was approaching
He was so filled with fear
Paul scooped him up quickly
Tyna said, “There There”
Bondi looked in wonder
A miracle to see
“No one else has ventured thus
To rescue one as we”
But Paul he had to do it
Just one more rescued cat
And now that he had Minto
“Bye Bye all” – and that was that
Bye Bye Paul – you always had to have the last word!

Paul: Special is the word
Special is the word
that best describes you……
Special is a word that is used
to describe something one-of-a-kind
like a hug
or a sunset
or a person who spreads love
with a smile or kind gesture.
Special describes people
who act from the heart
and keep in mind
the hearts of others.
Special applies to something
that is admired and precious
and which can never be replaced.
Special is the word
that best describes you.

Gone from my sight- Henry Van Dyke
I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side,
spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts
for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck
of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.
Then, someone at my side says, “There, she is gone”
Gone where?
Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,
hull and spar as she was when she left my side.
And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.
Her diminished size is in me — not in her.
And, just at the moment when someone says, “There, she is gone,”
there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices
ready to take up the glad shout, “Here she comes!”
And that is dying…
Rest In Peace Paul, I am sure Tyna was there saying “Here he comes”… We will meet again someday. Pet my Beau and Tai Kitty for me please.

Paul: A Lover of Cats
Not knowing any men who like cats, it was through the FFRC cam that I realized there are men who like cats. And the best of those guys at FFRC was Paul. What a delight and pleasure it was to see him walk in and sit down in front of the cam. So heartwarming to see this gentle and macho guy loving on the kitties. His love for them was so genuine that it came right through the cam. We miss you Paul but know that you are at Rainbow Bridge loving on the kitties who are no longer with us.
In Loving Memory of Paul
Little did we know that morning
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you,
you are always by our side.
Our FFRC family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.
Goodbye Paul Till we meet again on the other side rest in peace with the angel’s
we miss you terribly not a minute goes by when we dont think of you walking through ffrc keep expecting to see you
walk though or sit on the stool We love you and won’t ever forget you

Paul
I knew Paul for about 23 years, He lived in Buffalo. When we met we were instant friends. We partied and played darts a lot. I was famous for throwing darts at his feet. He never got upset with me because he threw them right back at me. We were always friends, one sweetest day he bought me a rose, just to brighten up my day. He was definitely a very good guy, we had our ups and down with our friendship. We reconnected on facebook which made me so happy to know that he was doing good and was happy with Tyna. Then though his loss and his sickness made it hard because I was not close to stop by to have a few more laughs and one of those great hugs. I told him when we reconnected that if he would have died without saying goodbye I would be mad at him well, Paul I’m not mad. Knowing you are not in pain anymore is good enough for me. I will miss you and love you with all my heart. You did make a difference in my life. Rest In Peace my Friend. Until we meet again on the other side.. Sue Rath
Paul Memorial
Paul, a friend to all. It seems hard to imagine the grief we all feel for a person we have never met, except for on the FFRC web cam. Paul was a true animal lover. I can see Paul sitting in the flower with all the cats and kittens around him. Most of the time there was a kitten in his peaking out of his coat or in his pocket. Paul had the knack for making us all laugh. I remember one night I was watching the cam and Jacci had just finished opening boxes and I was waiting for her to bring out Bravo after his surgery. Paul being the wonderful man he was set up blankets on the floor for Bravo to be placed on. Such a caring and compassionate man when it came to the special needs kitties. I know Bravo held such a special place in Paul’s heart, I think this is why I chose this memory of Paul. I am sure Bravo was waiting for Paul at the Rainbow Bridge.
I have looked through so many photo’s of Paul at FRRC in the last few weeks and they are all so special and wonderful. I would like to thank Paul for all of his dedication and hard work for FFRC. Not a day will pass that I will not remember Paul and all he has done for FFRC.
Jacci my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Prayers to all of Pauls friends, family and his kitties for peace and healing.
